Anyone remember AllAdvantage?

Far from being Photoshop related I know but worth a mention. Some of you might have been on the web long enough to remember a company called AllAdvantage that soared to great heights back in the late nineties before crashing and burning around 2001. Basically they started the get paid to surf the web craze and plenty of people were making good money simply by referring other people into the site. It was based on a multi tier referral system which meant that if your referrals referred others then you had more earning potential. I had quite a few referrals under my belt as a member and ended up earning about US$100 a week... pittance compared to some other members earnings but certainly better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

So why am I telling you this? Well some of the original AllAdvantage founders are thinking the time is right to resurrect the concept with what they consider is a more robust model, whether they survive this time Im not sure but I think its worth signing up for as its no risk for us as end users. The new company is called Agloco and they appear to be paying members in the form of shares as well as cash from what I can gather. Its all a bit pie in the sky at the moment but if it takes off like Alladvantage did then its worth a look, especially if you have a big circle of friends or run your own website and are able to get others to join under you. If they want to start throwing money at members again then Im all for it :) . Check out Agloco here.

Win a personal handwriting font

You will see the link on the front page. You can increase your chances by referring a friend to the contest, if your friend wins then you win too. Closes April 30th 2007 and prize is valued at US$75.95.

TIP:At present we have had only a few entries so the odds of winning are actually very good, this is due to the fact that the contest is only open to site owners who place a link to Fontgod. Plus its a game of skill so if you have some writing talent that will help.
